We are looking for an Accounts Receivable specialist to join our team!
This person is responsible for ensuring day-to-day accounts receivable duties are completed accurately and timely while following standard processes and guidelines. This person will have a customer service inspired attitude when working with customers and coworkers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Process daily invoicing in ERP system and distribute invoices to customers.
2. Apply daily cash receipts from payments via ACH, Wire and Check.
3. Process credit memos while following policy and approval process.
4. Provide support for internal and external audits.
5. Send customer statements weekly.
6. Analyze customer accounts including payment patterns.
7. Troubleshoot issues that may slow down our ability to collect.
8. Coordinate collection of appropriate data for reporting receivable issues to management.
9. Professionally communicate with customers to prevent and resolve collections issues.
10. Maintain daily/monthly files of cash receipt documentation, adjustments.
11. Research and document customer deductions, unearned cash discounts, prepare requests for credit memos.
12. Develop and maintain positive customer relationships.
13. Other accounting projects/duties, as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

This position is responsible for timely and accurate processing and recording of accounts receivable and other duties as assigned. This position is also expected to become involved in the development and implementation of improved business processes that streamline accounting services activities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- 2 years’ related accounting or customer service experience. Recent grads will be considered.
- Understanding of general accounting principles.
- Strong, demonstrated attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office products including knowledge of Excel. Experience with ERP systems a plus.
