TITLE: PCS Area Manager
REPORTS TO: PCS Area Director
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. Associates degree and/or 2 years of Advantage program experience
2. Ability to use copier, scanner, fax, and computer.
3. Knowledge of Medical terminology.
4. Possesses and maintains good physical and mental health. Has presented a pre-employment health clearance.
5. Is flexible and cooperative in fulfilling all obligations.
6. Complies with accepted professional standards and practices.
7. Must be a licensed driver with an auto that is insured in accordance with State and/or organizational requirements and is in good working order.
8. Ability to politely answer phone in a proper and orderly fashion.
9. Has computer knowledge such as Microsoft office, including word, excel, and PowerPoint.
SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The PCS Area Manager is responsible for assisting the PCS Area Director with oversight of OC and staffing, typing and filing, PCA data entry, and answering the phone. She/he will assist other office employees with filing, copying and other office duties as needed such as DARS and other reports, will also maintain Petty Cash and be on call for covered offices. PCS Area Manager will also assist the Area Director with projects that benefit every office covered.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
1. Assists PCS Area Director with filing and errands.
2. May travel to other offices in the state to assist with filing and data entry.
3. Typing with speed and efficiency.
4. Check off time sheet hours against qualified hours, make a copy and give to billing.
5. Answering phones, helping callers and /or routing calls to appropriate personal.
6. Responsible for office petty cash.
7. Responsible for local office reports which may include but no limited to, office information report, chart count, Hold report, Complete DAR report etc..
8. Receives and reviews information for discharged members as needed from all covered offices and officially completes discharge process for members in CRM, notifying offices if proper discharge documentation is not received.
9. Receives and processes requests from all office personnel requesting reset of passwords in Authenticare as needed.
10. Runs reports for all covered offices from Authenticare when assigned. Assists covered offices by checking authorizations in Harmony and other documentation and reports.
11. May be requested by PCS Area Director to assist in special projects and other duties as needed.
