Duties
- Provide attentive childcare for children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to each child's dietary needs and preferences
- Engage children in educational activities, playtime, and developmental exercises that promote learning and creativity
- Ensure the safety of children at all times by supervising their activities closely and implementing safety protocols
- Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, nap times, and diaper changes for infants and toddlers
- Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing light cleaning related to childcare duties
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care when necessary
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in roles such as babysitting, daycare assistant, or nannying
- Knowledge of child development milestones and age-appropriate activities for infants through preschoolers
- Training in first aid and CPR to respond promptly to emergencies and ensure child safety
- Familiarity with meal preparation suitable for young children with dietary restrictions or allergies
- Experience caring for children with disabilities or special needs is a valuable asset
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple responsibilities with patience, enthusiasm, and professionalism
- Prior experience in caregiving environments that emphasize nurturing, teaching, and fostering independence
