Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Prepare and serve food items efficiently, ensuring quality standards are met
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, kitchen, and food prep stations
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive, energetic attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts and multitask efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards in the food industry
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Culinary experience or restaurant experience is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Food preparation skills and kitchen experience are beneficial for supporting food quality and presentation
