Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide expert advice on our luxury jewelry collections, highlighting features and craftsmanship.
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations to showcase the unique qualities of each piece, encouraging customer interaction and interest.
- Assist customers with selecting, fitting, and trying on jewelry pieces, ensuring a personalized shopping experience.
- Manage sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including cash handling and receipt issuance.
- Upsell complementary items and accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales revenue.
- Maintain attractive merchandising displays, ensuring jewelry is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
- Stock shelves efficiently, perform inventory checks, and assist with inventory management to keep the store well-organized.
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or scheduling appointments, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Support the team with basic cashiering duties and ensure compliance with store policies on cash handling and retail math calculations.
Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in luxury or jewelry environments; supervisory experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively.
- Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory counts.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Knowledge of merchandising principles and experience with stocking products in a retail setting.
- Familiarity with phone etiquette standards for professional communication.
- Experience working in grocery stores or similar retail environments is beneficial but not required.
