Maybury Material Handling is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Control Specialist to join our Parts Department. This role is critical to maintaining accurate inventory levels, processing returns, and supporting our service operations. Key Responsibilities
- Verify all outgoing parts and consignment orders for accuracy.
- Conduct daily cycle counts as well as annual inventories of parts and service vans
- Analyze inventory reports and recommend adjustments to optimize stock levels.
- Create and manage new service van inventories and process returns.
- Maintain accurate part descriptions, locations, and labeling systems.
- Monitor and replenish shipping supplies.
- Respond to inquiries regarding inventory and investigate discrepancies.
- Process vendor returns and coordinate battery core returns.
- Identify and manage obsolete, scrap, and used parts inventory.
- Assist with receiving and storing incoming shipments within 24 hours.
- Coordinate with shippers and internal teams to resolve issues with received parts.
- Support recycling and disposal efforts for outdated materials.
- Install consignment cabinets at customer sites and provide usage training.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience in inventory control or parts management.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet applications.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
