Customer Service Associate / Cashier

Maya's Deli is looking for a new addition to our small, close-knit team! If you're an individual who is reliable, hard-working, able to multitask, efficient, detail oriented, and very organized, we'd love to hear from you! You will be required to extensively know the menu in order to assist with taking customers orders at the register, taking phone orders, online/delivery orders. You will also be responsible for MINOR kitchen duties such as prepping the "ready to serve" food items such as side salads. Can't be afraid to get dirty, it can sometimes be a messy job! Cleanliness and good hygiene is critical and required. Candidate must have a positive attitude, work well with others, and communicate effectively. Candidate must also be able to handle moderate lifting of incoming produce/supplies. Must be 18 years or older. Great position for first time job or college student who wants the opportunity to see how a small business operates. No experience is required however, if you do have experience in a restaurant, or any type of customer service, that is a plus. We're a small team, so if you have any other talents or skills, please be sure to include those! We’re a family run mom n Pop shop that has been in business for 12 years. Flexible hours; however we do need someone who is able to work late morning to closing shifts. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8am-4:00pm Saturday/Sundays CLOSED.
