Your Impact
- Collaborative Teamwork: Partner closely with lead teachers to bring individualized educational plans (IEPs) to life, ensuring each student's unique needs are met.
- Direct Support: Provide hands-on assistance with personal care tasks and expertly manage behavioral crises, offering unwavering support to students during classroom activities to foster a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Positive Communication: Harness the power of positive behavior support strategies to develop essential social skills, enhance communication abilities, and promote independence among students.
- Supportive Atmosphere: Cultivate a warm, supportive atmosphere where students feel valued, respected, and empowered to embrace their journey of learning and growth
- Documentation and Reporting: Thoroughly document student progress and maintain open lines of communication with parents, caregivers, and the multidisciplinary team, ensuring everyone is informed and involved in each student's educational journey.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with at least 1 year of licensed driving experience.
- Empathy, patience, compassion, and the ability to support children with diverse communication and behavioral needs.
- 1 years’ experience with individuals with special needs and/or education in a related field.
- Working knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis and ideally experience utilizing ABA while working with children with special needs.
- Competitive Pay: $23.50/hour-$24.50/hour depending on applicable experience.
