Make a difference in the lives of adults (22 ) with Autism and developmental disabilities! As a Developmental Specialist in our Raynham Day Habilitation program, you’ll provide essential support in a structured, community-based setting that focuses on skill building, independence, and social engagement.
What You'll Do
- Support individuals in achieving their personal goals through daily activities, group sessions, and community outings.
- Encourage participation in skill development areas such as communication, socialization, recreation, and vocational readiness.
- Promote independence and self-advocacy in a supportive, respectful, and empowering environment.
- Assist with personal care needs when necessary (meals, hygiene, mobility).
- Collaborate with program staff, therapists, and families to ensure meaningful and individualized support.
- Monday–Friday
- Day Shift
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid and current U.S. driver’s license (1 year of licensed driving experience).
- Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and adaptability.
- Experience supporting individuals with special needs (preferred but not required).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
- Competitive Pay: $22/hr ($23/hr with MAP certification).
