Role Description
The Behavioral Health Technician will provide direct, evidence-based behavioral interventions to children in an on-site capacity in Calhoun, GA. This full-time role involves supporting individualized treatment plans designed by Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors in clients. Additional responsibilities include documenting client progress, implementing behavior programs with fidelity, maintaining a professional and compassionate demeanor in client interactions, and actively collaborating with supervisors and families. The role is crucial to the successful delivery of ABA therapy.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis principles
- Experience in providing Behavioral Interventions and working with individuals with developmental or behavioral needs
- Excellent Communication skills, including verbal and written communication, to effectively collaborate with families, supervisors, and team members
- Educational background or experience in Psychology or a related field
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for improving the lives of children and families
- Ability to work on-site in Calhoun, GA

- Prior experience in ABA therapy or working towards RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification is a plus
