MaxWell Clinic is looking for a Patient Advocate (Monday-Friday) to join our clinic, with a passion for healthcare and a desire to support our patients. We’re looking for someone who is a fast learner and able to think on their feet to solve problems and address issues to help our patients thrive. You’ll work closely with the rest of our team to provide timely, accurate, and efficient support for our patient’s needs. You’ll need to be ambitious and goal-oriented, and stay calm under pressure. This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about wellness and eager to work in an environment where people’s health is a priority.

• Experience using an Electronic Medical Record system (This is a plus, but not required)

Job duties

• Coordinate care for patients with a variety of medical conditions and needs
• Act as a coach and accountability partner for our patients undergoing care and treatment
• Manage patient inquiries; provide seamless care coordination in person, over the phone, and via portal messaging to ensure a smooth patient experience
• Complete administrative duties such as scheduling patients, ensuring lab work is completed and chart preparation
• Work closely with the entire team to optimize and deliver an amazing patient experience
• Understand and confidently communicate MaxWell Clinic’s services
• Work in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to document and communicate with patients and staff
