MaxIT Consulting – Max Corporate Group is looking for a Business Analyst to support IT infrastructure projects for a public-sector organization in the Pontiac area, Michigan.
You will work across Infrastructure Services projects, including networking, servers, workstation services, Microsoft 365, VoIP telecommunications and the service center, turning business needs into clear requirements and working solutions.
THE CHALLENGE
Infrastructure teams need a self-starter who takes ownership of project assignments: someone who analyzes data, designs solutions, writes technical requirements and makes sure every deliverable meets its specification.
The role combines analysis, testing and implementation with hands-on user support, and also contributes to procurement documents such as Requests for Proposals and contract scopes of deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as Business Systems Analyst on projects across networking, server, workstation, Microsoft 365, VoIP telecommunications and service center teams.
- Perform data analysis, design solutions and write technical requirements.
- Test and implement technology solutions, conduct research and create procedures to improve existing systems.
- Support ServiceNow integrations related to asset management, inventory management, CMDB discovery and collaboration tools.
- Provide training and support to users.
- Write Requests for Proposals and contract scopes of deliverables.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst in IT.
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations (Asset Management, Inventory Management, CMDB discovery, Webex).
- Strong hands-on experience with the Microsoft 365 productivity suite.
- Solid data analytics experience.
- Self-starter with proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must live within commuting distance of Pontiac, Michigan, to work on-site two days a week.
- Telecommunications Expense Management experience.
- Experience with contracts and Requests for Proposals.
