Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their shopping experience
• Assist customers in selecting products, and offering recommendations
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Maintain attractive product displays through merchandising and stocking efforts to promote sales
• Upsell complementary products to maximize sales opportunities and improve customer satisfaction
• Ensure the store remains clean, organized, and well-stocked by performing regular stocking and merchandising tasks
• Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information about products and store hours while practicing excellent phone etiquette

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age
• Must be available for week nights, weekends, and holidays
• Previous retail sales and liquor knowledge is preferred; enthusiasm for learning is key
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math to accurately process transactions
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves, lifting boxes, and standing for extended periods
• Knowledge of liquor laws and responsible alcohol service practices is beneficial
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette
