Birley Bakery is the newest opening by the club owner and entrepreneur Robin Birley; owner of prestigious private members’ clubs 5 Hertford Street and Oswald’s in London. Located on the Upper East Side’s Madison Avenue, we aim to create a warm and welcoming environment, inspired by the classic concept of Boulangerie-Patisserie.
We are seeking a talented Barista to join our world- class hospitality brigade. Reporting to the Shop Manager, the Barista will work closely with the front-of-house team members responsible for crafting exceptional beverages, maintaining a high standard of service, and upholding the polished environment of the shop.

- Proven success as a Barista within specialty coffee or high-volume café.
- Strong knowledge of espresso equipment and dialing in.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Friendly, guest-focused, and team-oriented.
- To actively assist in the food and beverage service at the counter and in the dining room.
- Ability to work a variable schedule, including early morning, nights, weekends and holidays per the needs of the business.
