About the Role: Healthcare Administrator
We are seeking a detail-oriented Healthcare Administrator to oversee, implement, and optimize healthcare delivery systems. In this role, you will be the operational bridge between medical staff and organizational management, ensuring that facility operations are efficient, patient-centered, and compliant with rigorous industry standards. You will focus on maximizing resource utilization, improving patient flow, and ensuring the reliability of administrative services.
Core Responsibilities
- Process Optimization: Design and refine administrative workflows using data-driven methodologies to reduce operational bottlenecks and enhance patient throughput.
- Compliance & Validation: Author and execute operational protocols and ensure all facility processes align with HIPAA, JCAHO standards, and state/federal healthcare regulations.
- Technical Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records management, staff schedules, and budget reports within Electronic Health Record (EHR) and ERP systems.
- Facility Management: Oversee the procurement of medical supplies and the maintenance of facility infrastructure; coordinate with vendors for specialized medical equipment leasing.
- Quality Management: Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on service delivery gaps and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for patient care deviations or administrative errors.
- Cross-Functional Liaison: Act as the primary administrative contact for Clinical Directors, Finance, and Human Resources to ensure seamless facility operations and staff management.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field (Required).
- Experience: 0–5 years of experience in a clinical, hospital, or outpatient healthcare environment.
- Technical Skills (Required):
- Proficiency in Health Information Systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and medical billing software.
- Strong grasp of revenue cycle management, healthcare ethics, and patient privacy laws.
- Experience with ERP systems for resource scheduling and inventory tracking.
- Ability to interpret complex healthcare data, financial reports, and regulatory policies.
- Preferred Skills:
- Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) or MBA.
- Experience in regulated environments (Hospitals, Skilled Nursing Facilities, or Pharma/GxP).
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) or Six Sigma Green Belt.
