As the Wholesale Planner, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our wholesale strategy to maximize sales, profitability, and market share. You will be responsible for managing financial forecasting for the Wholesale business for our Pro Standard Brand. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will develop and execute comprehensive plans to meet sales targets, expand our wholesale distribution network, and strengthen our relationships with key retail partners. This is a key position for cash flow optimization and open to buy management. We’re looking for someone who demonstrates business agility and strategic thinking, leveraging internal and external data analysis to make fact-based decisions.


This role requires working in the office five days per week, collaborating onsite with cross-functional teams.


What will you be doing?

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for wholesale growth, considering market trends, competitive analysis, and providing actionable insight.
  • Sales Analysis: Analyze sales data for retail partners and identify key drivers of sales trends, and provide actionable insights to drive growth and profitability.
  • Reforecast business in season based on capsule performance. Identify opportunities and present revised projections and recommendations to leadership.
  • Compile hindsight reporting by account for use in future planning and forecasting profitability.
  • Proactively develop ad-hoc analytical reports and projects to address specific business challenges, opportunities, or changing needs of the business.
  • Assortment Planning: Collaborate with Merchandising and Product Development teams to develop compelling product assortments for wholesale partners. Analyze sales performance and customer feedback to refine assortments and drive profitability.
  • Retailer Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with wholesale partners, acting as the primary point of contact for key accounts. Negotiate terms, pricing, and promotional strategies to drive mutual success.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences within the sports fashion industry. Work with Sales team to understand customer preferences and competitor strategies to provide recommendations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to align wholesale strategies with overall business objectives. Collaborate on pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and go-to-market plans.
  • Performance Monitoring: Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards tailored to wholesale partners’ KPIs and metrics such as sell-through rates and market share.
  • Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing wholesale planning team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.


What will you be doing?

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field;
  • 7 years of experience in wholesale planning, sales, or related roles within the apparel industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems; experience with sales forecasting software is a plus.
  • Experience using PowerBI is highly preferred.

Salary : $95,000 - $105,000
