We are looking for an energetic, dependable and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our Mirada team. Max's is a high-end boutique grooming salon and natural / organic pet market known for premium products, knowledgeable service and genuine care for pets and their families.

This is more than a traditional retail position. You will help customers choose the right foods, treats and pet-care products, support our grooming guests, keep the store looking exceptional and become a trusted resource for local pet parents.

What You Will Do

• Welcome customers and pets with friendly, attentive and professional service.
• Ask questions about each pet's needs and recommend appropriate foods, treats, supplements, toys, grooming products and other pet-care products.
• Explain product features and benefits clearly, especially our premium natural, organic and specialty selections.
• Operate the point-of-sale system accurately and complete purchases, returns and customer checkouts.
• Answer incoming calls and assist customers with product questions, availability and general store information.
• Schedule and help manage grooming appointments and accurately communicate customer requests to the grooming team.
• Assist grooming clients with check-in and checkout to create a smooth front-of-house experience.
• Stock shelves, rotate merchandise, organize displays and maintain attractive product presentation.
• Help monitor inventory and communicate low-stock or high-demand items to management.
• Maintain a clean, organized and welcoming store throughout each shift.
• Continue learning about pet nutrition, ingredients, products and trends so you can become a knowledgeable resource for customers.

• Weekend availability required as part of the retail schedule.

Experience

Retail, pet-industry, hospitality or customer-service experience is preferred, but attitude, reliability, professionalism and willingness to learn are equally important. Experience with pet nutrition, natural or raw foods, grooming products or specialty retail is a plus.
