What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time retail associate position at The Mail Box Store?
This is a PART-TIME position, approximately 10-20 hours per week, 3-4 days a week.
This is also a TEMPORARY seasonal position, for the months of November, December and January.
Store hours are M-F 8:30am-6:00pm and Saturday 9:00am-1:00pm. You must be flexible and available to work different hours/shifts as needed.
* This can be a physically demanding position at times in a fast-paced environment.

Starting pay rate is $15.00 per hour.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: High school or equivalent
MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE
MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK
JOB DUTIES:
- Deliver OUTSTANDING customer service in a friendly, professional manner
- Greet our customers with enthusiasm and friendliness
- Process fingerprinting / I-9 appointments (paid training provided)
- Receiving packages and scanning them accordingly in our POS system / scanner
- Assist staff with faxing, scanning, copying, laminating and other small tasks
- Assist with the sorting and distributing of mail and packages
- Assist with the stocking, merchandising, inventory and cleaning of the store
REQUIREMENTS:
- An outgoing and positive personality
- Reliability, dependability with great work ethic and organizational skills
- Ability to have fun, while maintaining a professional and productive work atmosphere
- Follows, monitors and maintains store policies and procedures
- Excellent communication, listening, customer interaction and telephone skills
- Energetic, self-motivated and proactive with daily tasks
- Eager to learn, and a desire to perform a wide variety of duties
- Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs and move heavier packages with hand trucks
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Cash handling experience preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus, but not required.
