As part of MBP’s national platform, the Senior Associate will play a key role in managing the firm’s growing pipeline and executing transactions from origination through closing. The position offers significant growth potential, mentorship from senior leadership, and a clear path to advancement within the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, originate, and execute debt and equity financing across all major asset classes.
- Collaborate with MBP leadership to structure competitive capital solutions for developers and investors.
- Manage transactions from initial underwriting through due diligence, application, and closing.
- Underwrite and analyze commercial real estate assets using financial models, sensitivity analyses, and comparable data.
- Prepare institutional-quality offering memoranda and presentation materials.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with borrowers, lenders, and equity partners nationwide.
- Lead communication between all transaction parties, including clients, attorneys, title/escrow, and third-party vendors.
- Oversee loan documentation, closing coordination, and post-closing reporting.
- Maintain pipeline tracking and support team reporting within the company CRM.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts and support staff.
Qualifications

5 years of experience in real estate capital markets, banking, or investment sales, with proven origination results.
- Demonstrated track record of $50M in annual originations.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, including Excel-based underwriting and valuation.
- Deep understanding of U.S. real estate capital markets, including debt, equity, and structured finance instruments.
- Established relationships with institutional and private lenders, developers, and investors.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional client-facing presence.
- Experience managing junior staff and leading cross-functional teams.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive for growth, ownership, and results.
- Familiarity with title/escrow, legal documentation, and closing procedures preferred.

Salary : $90,000 - $300,000
