Senior Program Manager – ERP Transformation (Cloud Implementation)
Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid – minimum 3 days onsite per week)
Position Type: Full-time / Contract (24 months)
Our client, a global organization undergoing a large-scale digital transformation, is seeking a Senior Program Manager – ERP Transformation to lead the execution of a multi-year enterprise ERP cloud implementation program.
This role will own end-to-end delivery across cross-functional business and IT teams, ensuring successful migration from legacy systems to a modern cloud ERP platform. The position requires strong leadership across integrated workstreams, disciplined program governance, and the ability to drive execution in a complex, global environment.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Execution
- Own full lifecycle delivery of the ERP transformation program (planning → deployment → stabilization)
- Lead integrated program planning across all workstreams, including ERP configuration, integrations, data migration, reporting, and deployment
- Manage program scope, schedule, budget, and RAID (risks, assumptions, issues, decisions)
- Drive execution of critical milestones including testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare
- Ensure alignment across business functions including Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and Commercial teams
Governance & Integrated Planning
- Establish and lead program governance structure (executive reviews, steering committees, and workstream forums)
- Maintain a single, integrated program roadmap across releases, regions, and dependencies
- Manage cross-functional dependencies and protect the program critical path
- Deliver clear, executive-level reporting on progress, risks, and key decisions
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Lead and mentor Project Managers across global workstreams and regions
- Define program standards, tools, and operating cadence (planning, reporting, dependency tracking)
- Drive accountability, remove blockers, and escalate risks with actionable solutions
- Ensure alignment between internal teams and external partners
Stakeholder & Business Partnership
- Serve as primary program lead for senior business stakeholders
- Drive decision-making on scope, requirements, and deployment strategy
- Translate business needs into executable plans and measurable outcomes
- Present decision-ready updates to executive leadership
ERP Transformation & Delivery
- Lead migration from on-premise ERP systems to cloud-based platforms
- Oversee data migration, integrations, and workflow transformation across ERP modules
- Support global rollout strategy, including regional deployment considerations
- Ensure readiness for system cutovers and operational continuity
Change Management & Adoption
- Define and lead change management, training, and communication strategies
- Ensure stakeholder alignment and readiness across impacted teams
- Oversee training programs, adoption tracking, and post-go-live support
- Drive user adoption and long-term value realization
Vendor & Financial Management
- Manage delivery across ERP vendors, system integrators, and third-party partners
- Ensure alignment to scope, milestones, and quality expectations
- Oversee program budget, forecasting, and resource planning
- Identify risks and implement corrective actions to maintain financial targets
Risk & Compliance Management
- Maintain program-level risk and issue management processes
- Ensure compliance with IT controls, data governance, and regulatory requirements
- Drive structured cutover planning and contingency strategies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field
- 10 years of experience leading large-scale enterprise programs
- 7 years leading ERP implementations or major system transformations
- Experience delivering at least one full lifecycle cloud ERP implementation (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor)
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across business and IT organizations
- Experience managing large budgets and complex, multi-vendor environments
- Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes (Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Supply Chain)
- Excellent communication and executive stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification
- Experience in consumer products, retail, or manufacturing environments
- Background working with system integrators or ERP vendors
- Experience supporting global deployments across multiple regions
- Change management certification (e.g., Prosci) or equivalent experience
