Supervise and participate in various construction activities as assigned.

- OSHA 30 Certification

General
- Attend and participate fully in Internal Mavin Company meetings
- Quarterly Meetings

- Coordinate with the superintendent to ensure time is input correctly each pay period
- Complete expense report when applicable
- Assist superintendent with paperwork as requested
- Participate in Kickoff Meeting if applicable
- Assist superintendent in setting up the job site

- Assist superintendent with maintaining a safe culture and job site
- Enforce and comply with all company and project-required safety policies and procedures
- Ensure all equipment and tools are properly maintained and operating
- Ensure all appropriate PPE is available for each respective task

- Perform basic mathematical calculations and layout for general construction activities
- Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, specifications and operation guides
- Utilize a variety of hand/power tools and equipment
- Load, unload, and maneuver a variety of materials, equipment, and tools
- Instruct and direct construction and maintenance employees as required.
- Assist superintendent in ensuring work is installed in accordance with contract documents and meets quality standards
- Assist in troubleshooting and proactively solving issues
- Assist superintendent in accomplishing their self-imposed punch list prior to OAC punch list
- Obtain relevant certifications if required
- Train and mentor other Mavin employees
- Serves as a guide and leader for the internal team, subcontractors and vendors.
- Maintain a team-oriented environment and positively leads through challenges and obstacles
- Maintain positive relationships with all members of the project team
- Add value to others by coaching, mentoring and sharing knowledge to grow the company from within
