This role is based at our Salt Lake City Headquarters with a 4-day hybrid in-office schedule. Position Summary & Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Build and maintain analytics assets to evaluate business performance, identify trends, and track KPIs
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business challenges and develop impactful reporting solutions
- Engage with data engineers and technical teams to understand complex datasets and architect scalable solutions
- Develop, administer, and maintain the Looker platform, including dashboards, models, and permissions
- Automate complex calculations and reporting processes to improve efficiency and reliability
- Conduct root cause analyses to identify issues and support continuous process improvement
- Improve BI development standards, including version control, testing, and documentation
- Champion self-service BI adoption and data democratization across the organization
- Establish and enforce best practices to ensure reporting accuracy and data integrity
- 5 years of experience in BI, data analysis, analytics engineering, information systems, financial analysis, or a comparable role
- Strong experience writing SQL, Python, and LookML to support analytics and reporting solutions
- Proven success leading large-scale BI initiatives that drive measurable business impact
- Experience working with large-scale datasets and optimizing query and dashboard performance
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while communicating progress clearly to stakeholders
- Strong skill translating business needs into scalable, technical data solutions
- Leadership and mentoring experience, with the ability to influence teams and guide junior analysts
- A proactive mindset, consistently identifying opportunities for innovation, automation, and improvement

- A bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience improving BI governance, development standards, and platform administration
