Position Summary & Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Pay Range: $80,000-$90,000 DOE and Bonus Opportunities

Position Summary & Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Own Maverik’s organic visibility across search engines, map platforms, local listings, and AI-driven search environments.
- Optimize store location pages, structured data, and content to capture high-intent and local search traffic.
- Maintain accurate and consistent location data across platforms, ensuring store information such as hours, services, fuel, and amenities is correct.
- Manage and optimize external listing and data partners (e.g., Yext) while partnering with web, UX/UI, and data teams.
- Identify and resolve listing, mapping, and visibility issues such as duplicates, incorrect pins, and outdated store data.
- Lead review and reputation management efforts by monitoring customer feedback and improving ratings and trust.
- Develop and execute AI search strategy, optimizing content for AI-generated answers, zero-click results, and conversational search.
- Implement automation and AI-enabled tools to monitor performance, detect issues, and improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Analyze search performance, customer behavior, and discovery trends to deliver actionable insights that improve visibility and conversion.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Communications, or a related field preferred (associate degree considered with relevant experience).
- 3 years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, or search optimization focused on customer acquisition and digital discovery.
- Experience improving organic visibility, search rankings, and conversion through SEO and emerging AI search strategies.
- Hands-on experience with local search and listings management platforms such as Google Business Profiles, Apple Maps, and Yext.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using tools like Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics to translate data into insights and action.
- Understanding of technical SEO, including structured data, schema markup, site performance, indexing, and tagging.
- Familiarity with AI-driven search trends, zero-click search behavior, and optimization for conversational or answer-based engines.
