Position Summary & Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Pay Range: $19.00/hr - $23.00/hr DOE and Bonus Opportunities
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.

Position Summary & Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Monitor incident report submissions in ServiceNow and initiate investigations as needed
- Review and analyze incident reports from internal and external stakeholders
- Conduct investigations including interviews, site inspections, and evidence collection using CCTV and transaction data
- Determine liability and assess damages for customer service and fuel-related complaints
- Open, manage, and close claims files in accordance with company procedures
- Retrieve and review video surveillance for internal requests, insurance claims, and law enforcement inquiries
- Partner with the Manager to complete video investigations and document findings clearly and accurately
- Support cross-functional risk partners including Loss Prevention, Safety, Security, Customer Service, HR, and Accounting
- Collaborate with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies as needed
- Maintain proficiency in security systems and equipment
- Identify and escalate policy or procedure violations to appropriate teams
- 2 years of loss prevention, investigations, claims, or risk-related experience, OR 1 year of experience as a Maverik Store Manager
- Associate degree (or equivalent) in a related field, preferred
- Experience conducting structured investigations including interviews, documentation, and evidence review
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate reports, determine liability, and assess damages
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and comfort learning systems like ServiceNow
- Ability to manage multiple investigations and maintain accuracy under deadlines
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage respectfully across internal teams and external partners
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation skills

- Prior experience in retail loss prevention, security operations, or claims management
- Familiarity with CCTV systems, transaction analysis tools, or investigative software
- Experience working with law enforcement or regulatory agencies
- Exposure to multi-unit retail or fuel/convenience operations
