Mill Turn Machinist

Our facility in Akron, OH is looking for a talented CNC Mill Turn Machinist to work during our 1st shift. You will be tasked with the complete setup and operation of CNC mill turn equipment, while also handling the fabrication, deburring, and detailed inspection of medical implants and instruments using specialized measurement tools.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage the independent operation of various CNC mill turn units
• Execute all necessary machine setup procedures
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure operational efficiency
• Complete all essential paperwork, including job travelers and in-process documentation
• Maintain quality standards by facilitating the use of the First Piece Log
• Execute necessary tool adjustments to support production
• Perform change-overs and modify tool sizes to meet manufacturing requirements
• Configure tooling across all machinery located within your designated zone

Required Qualifications

• At least two years of professional experience in CNC machine operation
• Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in interpreting technical prints
• Possess an advanced understanding of GD&T principles
• Proven background in successfully completing CNC machine setups
• Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve production goals
