Maintenance Technician

Role Summary:

A prominent manufacturer based in Youngstown, OH, is seeking skilled Industrial Maintenance Technicians to bolster their operations. Key Duties:

• Execute electrical and mechanical fixes across diverse production gear and machinery.
• Identify and resolve malfunctions within pneumatic and hydraulic setups.
• Pinpoint and rectify faults involving 460V electrical circuits.
• Conduct routine and proactive maintenance to help maximize equipment uptime and operational output.
• Engage with PLCs to perform diagnostic checks and small-scale programming tweaks.
• Manage the installation, upkeep, and fault-finding of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
• Analyze and utilize technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Operate power equipment, hand tools, and precision measurement devices with a focus on safety.
• Help maintain accurate and prompt records for all maintenance tasks and service requests.
• Partner with management and production staff to support equipment optimization and reduce operational delays.

Requirements:

• At least three years of professional experience in industrial maintenance within a large-scale manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical and electrical issues.
• Practical knowledge regarding VFDs, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and 460V electrical systems.
• Competence in deciphering technical schematics and blueprints.
• A degree or certificate in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, or a similar discipline is highly desirable.
• Demonstrate a dedication to workplace safety to help ensure a secure environment for all personnel.
• Capable of functioning effectively both autonomously and as a collaborative team member.
