About the Role
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will serve as a pivotal link between product design and manufacturing excellence. You will champion continuous improvement initiatives, leverage advanced analytical tools to mitigate risks, and empower cross-functional teams to uphold the highest standards of product integrity.
Responsibilities- Lead structured problem-solving initiatives and mentor team members in root cause analysis techniques.
- Develop and maintain robust Control Plans and PFMEA documentation to proactively manage process risks.
- Execute machine capability studies to identify and capitalize on opportunities for process optimization.
- Oversee the resolution of supplier quality issues to ensure seamless production workflows.
- Manage the procurement and integration of precision inspection and testing equipment.
- Supervise quality audit personnel to ensure rigorous adherence to engineering specifications.
- Drive a culture of accountability by utilizing KPI boards to track action items and meet operational goals.
- Foster an environment where every team member is empowered to identify and resolve quality concerns at the source.
Required Skills
- Associate degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related Manufacturing discipline.
- 2-4 years of professional experience in quality assurance or control environments.
- Proficiency in quality methodologies including FMEA, process mapping, and capability studies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead project teams.
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related Manufacturing field.
- Advanced knowledge of Six Sigma principles and statistical process control.
- Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional quality improvement projects.
- Experience with data-driven decision-making in a high-volume manufacturing setting.
