Industrial Electrical Technician

As an Industrial Electrical Technician, you will serve as a critical technical resource for our production facility, ensuring the peak performance and reliability of our automated systems. You will leverage your expertise in PLC troubleshooting and high-voltage systems to minimize downtime and drive operational excellence across our manufacturing lines.

• Diagnose and resolve complex issues within 480-volt, 3-phase electrical systems to maintain continuous production flow.
• Optimize equipment uptime by performing precise maintenance, calibration, and repair of motors, conduit, and complex electrical infrastructure.
• Interpret technical schematics and blueprints to execute installations and system upgrades with high accuracy.
• Manage electronic control systems, including variable speed drives and relays, to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
• Analyze and modify PLC ladder logic to enhance machine performance and diagnostic capabilities.
• Execute rigorous preventative maintenance schedules and maintain detailed records to ensure long-term equipment health and safety compliance.

Required Skills

• Associate’s degree in Industrial Electrical or Industrial Maintenance technology.
• Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting and programming PLCs, including reading ladder logic.
• Solid understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and ability to interpret complex electrical schematics.
• Proven hands-on experience installing and maintaining 480V 3-phase electrical equipment.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced experience in the configuration and repair of variable speed drives.
• Background working within high-speed manufacturing or automated packaging environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on facilities maintenance and system reliability.
