Facilities Maintenance Specialist

As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, you will serve as a vital guardian of our operational infrastructure, ensuring that our building systems remain in peak condition. You will leverage your technical expertise in electrical, mechanical, and structural repairs to minimize downtime and create a safe, efficient environment for our entire team.

• Execute proactive preventative maintenance schedules to extend the lifespan of facility assets and building components.
• Perform skilled repairs on HVAC systems to ensure optimal climate control and energy efficiency across the site.
• Conduct structural and facility repairs, including framing and drywall work, to maintain a professional and safe workspace.
• Utilize welding, plumbing, and industrial electrical skills to resolve complex equipment and building issues.
• Operate sit-down and center-rider PIV equipment to assist in facility logistics and maintenance access.
• Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards, ensuring full compliance with OSHA standards and internal safety protocols.
• Document maintenance activities and repairs within our digital management system to track performance and asset history.

Required Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of hands-on experience in industrial or facility maintenance.
• Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, HVAC service, and general building repairs.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and solve mechanical problems independently.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment and maintain a focus on safety in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies and lean principles.
• Experience with industrial machine safety inspections and ground support equipment.
• Strong computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proven ability to manage multiple repair projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
