We are seeking a highly skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician to maintain and troubleshoot industrial facility systems. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems to ensure operational efficiency.
- Diagnose and repair complex electrical and mechanical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and optimize equipment performance.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with AC and DC drives, as well as motor control circuits, enhancing overall system reliability.
- Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics to facilitate effective troubleshooting and repairs.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- 2-year Industrial Electrical Degree or 1-2 years equivalent experience in an industrial setting.
- High degree of mechanical aptitude with proven ability to troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical equipment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, including basic ohms-law application.
- Familiarity with pneumatics and hydraulic systems.
Preferred Skills
- Welding experience.
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting.
- Boiler Operator Certification.
- Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD).
