About the Role
Maverick Project Group is expanding to support multiple campus renovation & infrastructure projects (residence halls, Duke Energy power upgrades, and more). We are hiring 1–2 PMs to support field coordination, documentation, subcontractor alignment, and client communication.
Responsibilities
- Attend site walkthroughs; document conditions
- Track RFIs, submittals, COs, pay applications
- Maintain project matrixes and milestone tracking
- Coordinate subs, architects, and inspectors
- Support owner with risk identification and mitigation
- Produce weekly reports; escalate blockers
- Represent Maverick with professionalism & transparency
Requirements
- 3–10 years construction or PM experience
- Strong communication & documentation habits
- Familiarity with commercial renovation
- Able to work independently and in ambiguity
- Experience with RFIs, pay apps, COs
- Comfortable with accountability
- Passion for education, community impact, and institutional work
Salary : $35 - $45
