Your Role as a Construction Manager

As a Construction Manager with Maverick Homes, you’ll oversee all aspects of the homebuilding process—from pre-construction planning to final walkthrough—ensuring homes are delivered on schedule, on budget, and to Maverick Homes' high standards for quality and customer satisfaction.

You’ll be the point person for coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams, and play a key role in maintaining the trust and transparency we’re known for.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day site operations for single-family home construction
  • Manage schedules, job progress, and ensure timely completion of each phase
  • Coordinate with trade partners and suppliers to ensure project timelines and expectations are met
  • Conduct site inspections to uphold Maverick Homes’ standards of craftsmanship and safety
  • Assist in tracking job costs, materials, and change orders in collaboration with internal teams
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners, vendors, and team members
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues to avoid delays or rework
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, permits, and safety regulations
  • Provide timely updates and maintain open lines of communication with customers throughout the construction process
  • Demonstrate flexibility and a customer-first mindset when adjusting to client preferences, concerns, or scheduling needs
  • Contribute to a positive, respectful work culture and represent Maverick Homes with professionalism

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience managing residential construction projects (single-family preferred)
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, timelines, budgets, and local building codes
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects and teams
  • Tech-savvy with construction management software (Buildertrend experience is a plus)
  • Commitment to quality, transparency, and respectful communication
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
