Overview
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team.
Experience in diesel engine repair and aftertreatment system diagnostics.
Verification of exhaust emission control systems (DOC, DPF, SCR) using ECM fault codes and real-time sensor data to ensure that Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) dosing, soot levels, and NOx emissions remain within legal and operational limits following repairs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines. This role requires a commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining the performance and reliability of our fleet, ensuring that all vehicles are in optimal working condition.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems.
- Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
- Assemble and disassemble engine components as needed.
- Repair or replace air brake systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize welding and soldering techniques for repairs on various mechanical parts.
- Lift heavy components safely and efficiently during maintenance tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding vehicle issues and repair processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in diesel mechanics.
