Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Route Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a designated territory and providing exceptional customer service. Based in Wichita and servicing our customers in our expanding Kansas territory. Territory from Wichita up to the Manhattan/Junction City market. One overnight stay a week probable. Customers include c-store, liquor stores, smoke shops, and other independent locations.
Responsibilities
- Drive along assigned routes/territory to sell products to customers, open new accounts, and provide great customer service.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding product offerings, promotions, and pricing.
- Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities during each visit.
- Maintain accurate records of prospects and customer interactions via company communication tools.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while adhering to safety regulations.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high service standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales or customer service is preferred, with a focus on route driving being a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with customers.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory levels.
- Ability to upsell products based on customer needs and preferences.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
