Maverick Aerospace, LLC is a world-class manufacturer of components and assemblies for the aerospace and defense industries. Currently our facility is nearly 45,000 square feet under roof all bays are crane served. Our machine list is comprehensive and well suited to a variety of products, from the simplest 3-axis part to extremely complex 4, and 5-axis parts from various materials including, aluminum alloys, brass, steels, titanium and plastics. Our NC Programming department is staffed with an experienced and capable team, allowing us to tackle the most complex parts with various geometries.
Estimating Administrative Assistant
As an Estimating Administrative Assistant, you will be supporting the Estimating/Sales process to ensure a quick and efficient processing of quote requests from our customers. You will work closely with the Estimating and Sales departments and assist with building service relationships with our customers.
Your Responsibilities:
- Input quotation data into our ERP application and managing electronic RFQ data (RFQ emails, engineering downloads, electronic folder creation, quote filing, etc.)
- Perform quote and analyses and assist in sales metric development
- Work with Estimating Manager to assess RFQ solicitations for feasibility
- Obtain material, hardware and outside processing pricing for quotation support
- Daily communication between internal sales, customer service, and reseller contacts via phone and email
- Support sales with customer follow-up on quotations
- Assist in proposal preparation and special reporting
- Collaborate in daily bid strategy
- Convert Quotes to Jobs in our ERP application
- Assist with Job Document Control
You Must Have:
- Associated degree or equivalent
- 2 years of related/relevant experience in related position
- Proven mathematics ability to provide accurate information on price quotes and quantities
- Strong multi-tasking, attention to details, and analytical problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite (using Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint), ERP/CRM or other computer-based programs
- Ability to understanding all of our products, production equipment capabilities, manufacturing processes, production rates and materials and able communicate these variables both internally and externally to customers
- Ability to speak clearly & communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of customer contacts with positive reflection of company and team
