This role requires strong leadership in hybrid (Agile/Waterfall) project management, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Management
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Create and manage project plans, schedules, and timelines.
- Organize and facilitate internal/external meetings and Agile ceremonies.
- Prepare and distribute progress reports, communicating deviations and corrective actions.
- Establish and refine project management processes for continuous improvement.
- Identify, track, and document project risks and issues.
- Assess impact and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Foster a collaborative, results-driven environment.
- Hold teams accountable for commitments and remove roadblocks.
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party resources.
- 5 years in project management (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid, Scrum, or Kanban).
- Expertise in PPM tools (Monday.com), MS Office, JIRA/Confluence, and Miro/Visio.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, translate technical tasks, and communicate with non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong conflict resolution, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfort with ambiguity and experience in government or regulated environments (preferred).
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Business or related field.
- PMP Certification.
- 3 years of leadership experience.
- Familiarity with SiteCore, Salesforce, MuleSoft, Azure, Power Platform, or ForgeRock.
- 12-month contract (40 hrs/week, core hours 8 AM–5 PM ET).
- Hybrid work (remote/on-site in Hartford); must provide own laptop & high-speed internet.
- Background check & confidentiality agreement required.
- No travel reimbursement; consultant must be on camera for virtual meetings.
