Location: Anywhere in the U.S.; 100% travel required for events

Work schedule: Wednesday-Sunday in September to mid-November 2026

Compensation: $30/hour

Based in San Jose, CA, Mavens Creamery is a super-premium frozen dessert brand known for bold, Asian-inspired flavors like Durian, Black Sesame, Pandan Coconut, and Passion Fruit Mango.

We are looking for positive, energetic In-Store Demo Brand Ambassadors to be the face of Mavens Creamery at Costco Roadshows across the U.S. In this role, you will engage directly with Costco members, offer product samples, explain our flavors and ingredients, maintain an attractive demo setup, and help drive product trial and sales.

This role is ideal for someone who loves interacting with people, enjoys food and beverage, and can confidently represent a growing premium frozen dessert brand. It is a travel-heavy position requiring availability Wednesday through Sunday during scheduled Roadshow events.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent Mavens Creamery professionally and enthusiastically at Roadshows.
• Engage Costco members, offer samples, explain products, and encourage purchase.
• Share product knowledge, brand story, flavor details, and key selling points.
• Deliver best-in-class customer service while maintaining an energetic presence.
• Set up, maintain, and break down tables, signage, product displays, and materials.
• Keep the demo area clean, organized, stocked, and visually appealing.
• Communicate event updates, customer feedback, sales observations, and operational issues to the Mavens team.
• Follow all food safety, product handling, store, and workplace safety procedures.
• Support brand marketing initiatives, promotional activities, and Roadshow objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in product demos, retail sales, food service, events, hospitality, or brand ambassador work preferred.
• Passion for food and beverage, especially premium desserts or Asian flavors.
• Strong communication skills and comfort speaking with customers throughout the day.
• Sales-focused mindset with the ability to educate, engage, and convert customers.
• Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable, proactive, organized, and able to solve problems on-site.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Prior Costco Roadshow or in-store demo experience is a plus.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

• Must be able to travel 100% for scheduled Costco Roadshow events across the U.S. Wednesday through Sunday.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift and carry up to 30 lbs, load and unload event supplies, and set up and break down tables, signage, product displays, and pop-up materials.
• Must be able to safely operate basic event equipment such as carts and folding tables.
• Must follow all food handling, safety, and workplace procedures.
