Duties
- Assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites and Residential facilities
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform wiring, conduit bending, and fixture installation tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to support project execution
- Measure electrical components with tools like the ohmmeter and ensure proper connections following NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
- Support the setup of low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical work to identify issues or potential hazards
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used during projects
Requirements
- Prior experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrician work is highly desirable
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction site safety protocols
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams effectively
- Strong understanding of electrical systems including low voltage and high voltage applications
- Experience with NEC standards, schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting using an ohmmeter or similar testing devices
- Construction site experience demonstrating adaptability in dynamic environments
- Knowledge of frame carpentry is a plus for supporting structural aspects of electrical installations
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward learning new skills
