We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented employee to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our daily processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and optimizing production efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, fiberglassing or molding and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• The Fiberglassing Technician will be responsible for applying fiberglass resin to various surfaces, ensuring quality and durability in a wide range of applications.
• Apply fiberglass mats, woven fabrics, and resins to molds or products, ensuring uniformity and smoothness of the surface.
• Conduct quality inspections on products and materials to maintain compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of production data, including output levels and equipment performance.
• Assist in the training of new employees on manufacturing processes and safety protocols.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment by following all safety regulations and guidelines.

Skills

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment operation.
• Strong understanding of fiberglass processes. Ability to work in a workshop or production environment with exposure to chemicals, resins, and fiberglass dust.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to quality assurance.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and management.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
