INTAKE COORDINATOR (Legal Intake) — Spanish Required

A plaintiff-side employment law firm in El Segundo is seeking a full-time Intake Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient administration of the intake function, evaluating potential client leads, and providing essential support to attorneys.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute all aspects of intake logistics, including scheduling appointments, calendaring, preparing documents, and completing steps outlined by lead attorneys
- Conduct comprehensive preliminary screening of incoming leads
- Assess viability of leads based on established standards and guidelines
- Prepare summarized findings and recommendations for attorneys
- Perform review and data analysis of wage and hour documentation as needed
- Meet regularly with attorneys and participate in intake calls with potential clients
- Conduct follow-up with prospective clients within established timelines
- Relay accurate, thorough information to clients regarding the intake process and class action litigation process
- Maintain clear, comprehensive, and accurate notes in the lead intake software system
- Serve as a Spanish interpreter as needed
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Fluent in Spanish (required)
- Reliable, highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish
- Ability to distill information and communicate it effectively to both clients and attorneys
- Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and ability to put prospective clients at ease
- Ability to manage an intake pipeline end-to-end for external referrals and in-house leads
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and sound judgment
- Positive attitude and commitment to a high standard of ethical and professional conduct
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to analyze data, consolidate information, and make clear, data-driven recommendations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
