Logistics SpecialistThis logistics role supports the movement of all outgoing orders by accurately preparing documents, labels, and shipment details for domestic and international deliveries. The position manages all order activity in the shipping software, coordinates with carriers and brokers, and ensures clear communication with production, purchasing, sales, and customer service. Requirements of the Logistics Specialist• Strong international shipping background, including exporting and importing• At least 2 years of relevant logistics experience (manufacturing logistics, trucking customer service, freight forwarding, etc.)• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment• Deadline-driven with solid time management• Proficient with common computer applicationsResponsibilities of the Logistics Specialist• Schedule outbound shipments and coordinate with couriers and brokers• Prepare shipping documents for hazardous and non-hazardous goods, including proper labeling• Track shipments, follow up on delays or issues, and communicate updates to logistics and customer service• Handle all sample shipments and domestic and international orders• Assist with return goods by processing, investigating, and routing to the proper parties• Create weekly outbound reports and address any variances• Follow established procedures for all outbound shipments• Use TMS, ERP, and CRM systems to manage shipment activity1st shift, DIRECT HIREPay is $26.00 - $28.00 an hour, based on experience*If you have an open application with Matthews Professional Employment, Inc., please express your interest in this position to your consultant*
