About the Role
A leading pharmaceutical/OTC manufacturing organisation in Lebanon, PA is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations within a 60,000 sq ft climate-controlled facility. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong knowledge of GMP, batch manufacturing, and high-volume production environments.
You will ensure safe, efficient, compliant production while coaching operators, improving processes, and partnering with Quality, Maintenance and Supply Chain teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily production activities: start-up, shut-down, changeovers and line operations
- Lead teams across mixing, extrusion, forming and packaging
- Monitor KPIs: throughput, yield, scrap, downtime, efficiency
- Ensure full compliance with GMP, 21 CFR 210/211 and internal SOPs
- Partner with Quality & Regulatory for in-process checks and documentation
- Coach and develop operators/technicians; support training and performance reviews
- Troubleshoot process, equipment and materials issues
- Maintain accurate batch records, logbooks and shift reports
- Uphold safety standards and support housekeeping and audit readiness
- Drive continuous improvement: waste reduction, process optimisation, line performance
- Communicate cross-functionally with Production, Quality, R&D, Maintenance and Supply Chain
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology or equivalent experience
- 3–5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience (GMP environment preferred)
- Strong understanding of GMP, 21 CFR 210/211 and batch manufacturing
- Experience overseeing automated or high-throughput production lines
- Effective leader with strong communication and organisational skills
- Problem-solver able to diagnose mechanical, process and material issues
Preferred:
- Experience in OTC, dietary supplement or lozenge manufacturing
- Extrusion/forming equipment experience
- Lean, Six Sigma, or CI background
Working Environment

- Standing, walking and lifting required
- Occasional overtime may be required
