Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day to day surveying operations and workload, including scheduling both field & office work and assuring that all projects are being completed on time and on budget.
- Resolve project-related concerns or problems and consults with the Principal in Charge, other Survey Managers, or Survey Supervisors when there are scheduling issues.
- Assist in developing and maintaining project budgets and schedules, specific to surveying projects and phases. Assist in maintaining the technical and financial performance of the survey team’s budgets.
- Assist with the preparation of fee proposals and Statements of Qualifications in pursuit of new or potential work.
Required Qualifications:
- Licensed as a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in the State of North Carolina or the ability to obtain such licensure within 90 days is a requirement.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Surveying or related field from an accredited four-year college or university or an associate’s degree or equivalent.
- A minimum of 6 years of practical field surveying and/or surveying supervision is required.
