Job Description: Survey Instrument Operator
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Survey Instrument Operator to join our team for projects in the Asheville, North Carolina and surrounding areas. In this role, you will assist in the operation of survey field equipment and work alongside a field crew to support a variety of design, mapping, and construction projects. Your responsibilities will include setting up and operating instruments, collecting accurate field data, and maintaining equipment to ensure seamless field operations.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the operation of survey instruments, such as total stations, GPS, and levels.
- Collect, document, and verify field data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain and troubleshoot survey equipment as needed.
- Support the field crew in adhering to project specifications and schedules.
- Communicate effectively with team members and project managers.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 years experience as a Survey Instrument Operator
- Proficiency with survey equipment and technology.
- Located in the Asheville, North Carolina area
- Physical ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screenings.
- Willingness to work weekends and travel overnight as needed.
