Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders and providing exceptional service to enhance their café experience
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and seating areas
- Manage cash handling responsibilities by processing cash transactions and giving correct change using retail math skills
- Follow food safety protocols during food preparation and beverage service to ensure quality and compliance
- Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Commitment to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Experience in beverage preparation, serving, and food industry standards is desirable
