Position Summary

The Internal Account Manager (IAM) acts as a representative for Matrix VIP, fostering the growth and development of new and existing business relationships within the assigned territory, to increase awareness of Matrix VIP and achieve growth goals aligned with the strategic plan. This role involves decision-making within established policies, delivering comprehensive program and services education, and engaging with healthcare 
professionals to strategically manage key customer accounts and develop qualified leads for the territory Sales Directors for optimal product utilization.

Primary Responsibilities 

• Assume responsibility for a strategically significant territory, aiming to maximize revenue and market share in these regions by building business relationships virtually with new and existing healthcare professionals and referring providers with specific focus on promoting and advancing the market presence of targeted medications and generating qualified leads for the Sales Directors specified geography.
• Demonstrate proactive engagement with healthcare providers by initiating outreach campaigns, maintaining a strong and consistent presence in the healthcare community, and ensuring that our products and services align with their needs and expectations.
• Lead and coordinate weekly meetings with your partner Sales Directors, analyze key performance metrics, evaluate market trends, and collaboratively develop actionable strategies to optimize outcomes and drive sustained growth with assigned portfolio.
• Proficient use of current company CRM to capture sales opportunities, manage sales pipeline, and log sales activities
• Adhere to all relevant regulations and company policies while conducting educational and marketing activities. Stay updated on the latest product information, clinical data, and industry trends to effectively communicate product benefits to customers.

Establish and nurture enduring connections throughout various accounts, delivering guidance and educational resources, and creating opportunities for engagement with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals within the 
designated territory.
• Serve as an intermediary with existing customers on any service-related issues, ongoing training needs, and communications from Matrix VIP to provide the 
highest level of customer service. Collaborate with operations to perform or assist with any service-related issues, to maintain workflow, and to meet schedules and quality requirements.
• Respond to inquiries from existing customers, identify needs, provide appropriate information related to their patients, and assist with any requirements to facilitate business. Maintain close contact with key customers.
• Provide regular reports of sales territory performance and customer interactions. Prepare and submit monthly expense reports to management.
• Attend departmental conference calls, trainings, and staff meetings, and assist to identify and participate in local and regional conventions and trade shows to represent the company and its services. 
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Key Skills 

• Demonstrated excellence in providing customer service to healthcare organizations and resolving concerns through utilization of critical thinking skills.
• Proven experience independently structuring and executing complex analyses. 
• Ability to identify and analyze data and territory activity to define actions and focus on those most likely to generate significant growth results and in keeping with the business strategy. 
• Demonstrated ability to build enduring customer relationships. 
• Advanced skills in the use of MS Office software including Office, Excel, PowerPoint & Word, along with the ability to create records and enter, update, and retrieve customer information in CRM (Customer Records Management} systems

Excellent oral, presentation, and written communications skills. 
• Ability to travel 5-10% of the time - dependent on the geography of team member

Education & Experience Requirements 

Bachelor’s degree in a field related to Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or similar discipline preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of field sales experience, preferably in a pharmacy, long term care, or behavioral health setting. 

 

Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
