Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Tower Technician based in Cincinnati, OH. The Tower Technician will perform installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications infrastructure, including climbing towers and working at heights. Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, using hand tools safely and effectively, and maintaining wireless network systems to ensure optimal functionality. Accurate communication and adherence to safety protocols are essential to the role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in the use of hand tools and related equipment
- Strong troubleshooting abilities and experience in maintenance and repair
- Working understanding of wireless networking systems
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Physical fitness to climb towers and work at heights (compliance with safety standards)
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed
- Prior experience in a telecom or related field is a plus
- Certifications in tower climbing and safety/rescue are advantageous
