Summary
Human Resources Generalist shall assist Human Resource functions, including but not limited to recruitment, time keeping, scheduling, safety program compliance, maintaining employee records, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management.
Responsibilities
- Administration of HRIS ensuring that records are maintained, input timely and correctly entered for the following modules: time keeping system, basic employee file, and employee benefits
- Assist with recruiting qualified applicants, completing initial interviews, scheduling department interviews, preemployment testing, conducting background checks, and processing new hire paperwork
- Review and ensures accuracy of approved time sheets for hourly employees
- Inputs employee schedules and maintains time off requests and attendance
- Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending Human Resource policies and procedures
- Supports employee recognition programs and events fostering increased retention rates, employee morale and overall job satisfaction
- Provide office administration support, answering phones, greeting guests, running office errands, supply orders, scheduling meetings
- Regular presence on the production floor and interactions with employees; keeping a pulse on employee happiness and company success
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by performing housekeeping complying with GMPs SQF HAACP, LOTO and general workplace safety standards
- Must maintain accurate documentation that is legible, and organized
- Must follow good manufacturing practices
- Must ensure food safety and quality are maintained by following regulations and company guidelines
- Participate in ongoing training related to job duties, safety, equipment operation, and product handling.
- Perform other duties as directed by management

Required Qualifications
· Must be at least 18 years of age or older
· 1 years of experience in Human Resources
· 2 years of experience in Recruitment
· Must have prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial workplace
Preferred Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
· Ability to work in an unstructured environment while making decisions quickly Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
· Must be available to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays
· Bilingual in Spanish
Education / Certificates
· High School Diploma or Equivalent
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and motions.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand up to 80% of shift.
- Squatting, and pushing/pulling up to 30% of shift.
- Twisting, grasping, reaching, turning, stooping, and lifting up to 80% of shift.

Travel: Travel to industry events, visitation to facilities within company network may be required on occasion
Expected Hours: Variable shifts; production lines run 24 hours / 7 days a week and requires all employees to have open availability, including but not limited to working weekends, evenings, holidays.
