What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vulnerability Manager position at Matlen Silver?
Location: Onsite 3 days a wk; Hybrid – Office location is Jersey City NJ
Required Pay Scale: $60-65hr W2
***Due to client requirements this role is only open to USC or GC candidates***
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders to identify/track performance metrics, provide data analytics/insights, escalate/monitor variances, and ensure that follow-up actions are executed in alignment with targeted outcomes
- Creates presentations/reports to enable high quality operational/risk performance oversight and tell the story to a Senior Management audience.
- Partners with data providers to capture/report on status updates and variances for key business performance and risk indicators (i.e. application governance, funding, workforce, change) that will be communicated in management business reviews and other risk routines.
- Drives executive reporting, risk routines, analytics, and proactive insights across the risk portfolio (i.e. RISE compliance deliverables, Third Party Risk Management, regulatory/audit/issue management, infrastructure vulnerabilities, non-permitted technology, Global Information Security findings, and Disaster Recovery plans and continuity testing)
- Supports and refines existing risk processes/routines to enable synergies, ensure proper alignment, and/or escalate upcoming issues, bolstering stronger operational risk control parameters
- Experience in technology risk, operations, or program management, including involvement in complex reporting requirements will be advantageous.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated ability to work with business controls owners across various departments and locations to ensure that deliverables and milestone deadlines are met.
Must Haves:
- Strong application risk Experience
- Experience with container vulnerability (jboss, docker, Kubernetes, aqua, qualys)
- AI tool co-pilot
