MVC Developer (Virtualization & Automation)

Overview

We are seeking a skilled MVC Developer to design, develop, and support workflow-driven applications and automation solutions. This role is foundational to building and maintaining scalable systems using MVC frameworks, PowerShell, SQL, and related technologies, with a strong emphasis on virtualization platforms such as VMware and Aria (vRA/vRO).

The ideal candidate combines strong software development fundamentals with hands-on experience in infrastructure automation and virtualized environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using MVC architecture.
• Build and enhance automated workflows leveraging PowerShell, SQL, and related scripting languages.
• Develop backend logic and integrations to support infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Create and maintain workflows within VMware Aria (vRA/vRO) to automate virtual machine provisioning and operational tasks.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability within virtualized environments.
• Support troubleshooting, debugging, and enhancement of existing workflows and applications.
• Document application designs, workflows, and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience developing applications using MVC frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and workflow development.
• Proficiency in SQL for data access, reporting, and backend integration.
• Experience working with virtualization technologies, including VMware.
• Familiarity with VMware Aria (vRA/vRO) or similar automation/orchestration tools.
• Solid understanding of application lifecycle, workflow design, and system integration.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code or automation frameworks.
• Exposure to cloud platforms or hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT operations and provisioning workflows.
• Experience supporting production systems in regulated or large-scale environments.

Nice to Have

• Background in DevOps or platform engineering.
• Experience integrating applications with APIs or service catalogs.
• Knowledge of security, access controls, and compliance in virtualized systems.
